2. Consider proposing an Art IS Education proclamation for your school board, city council or arts organization. For inspiration look at this example of the Governor’s proclamation.
3. Write an opinion editorial for your local paper advocating for arts learning during Art IS Education month. Read County Superintendent Sheila Jordan’s Op Ed signed by all 18 school district superintendents.
4. When you have an opportunity to talk with policymakers and administrators, use the Why the Arts? Talking Points and Arts Fact Sheet to help people understand what arts learning is, why it is critical to a high-quality education and what the Alliance does to help bring arts learning to every child.
